Kafka Administrator

Role Overview: As a skilled Kafka Administrator, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and managing Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance of the data streaming platform. Your role will involve collaborating closely with development and operations teams to design and implement Kafka solutions that align with the business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters in both production and development environments - Monitor Kafka performance and troubleshoot issues related to brokers, producers, and consumers - Implement best practices for data ingestion, retention, and processing within the Kafka ecosystem - Develop and update documentation on configuration, processes, and procedures - Optimize Kafka cluster performance and conduct capacity planning - Collaborate with application teams to understand data flow requirements and provide support for Kafka integration Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a Kafka Administrator or in a similar role - Strong understanding of Kafka architecture, streaming concepts, and related technologies - Experience with Kafka management tools like Confluent Control Center, Kafka Manager, or equivalent - Knowledge of cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) would be advantageous - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai Benefits: You will have the opportunity to work with one of the Big 4's in India.,
