Juniour Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy Junior Accountant to join our team. This role supports day-to-day accounting functions while also monitoring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of accounting records through control systems. The position is pivotal for maintaining financial accuracy, preventing errors, and assisting with audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and process day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Prepare and maintain financial statements under supervision
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and ledgers
• Process invoices, employee reimbursements, and payroll entries
• Prepare and file timely GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, companies, and firms
• Update financial data in internal databases and generate periodic reports
• Collaborate with senior accountants and other departments on accounting tasks
• Stay updated with amendments in direct and indirect tax laws (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA/ICWA/CPA certification preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of Indian Taxation laws including GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, etc.
• Proficiency with Indian tax filing systems and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal for client interaction.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,500.00 per month
