Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Rebar Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate rebar detail drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes, and collaborating with engineers and contractors to ensure the proper installation of rebar in various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze construction drawings and specifications to prepare rebar detailing drawings.
• Create rebar layout drawings and bar bending schedules using CAD software.
• Ensure all rebar drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues and modifications.
• Calculate and verify material quantities for rebar and prepare material take-offs.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with the coordination of project timelines.
• Provide support during the fabrication and installation process as needed.
• Stay updated with changes in building codes, standards, and construction techniques.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent. An Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a rebar detailer, or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Cads RC, Revit, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of rebar materials, rebar placement, and construction codes.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and clients.
• (Optional) Certification in Rebar Detailing or construction safety (OSHA).
