Job Summary

Title: Junior WordPress Developer & Site Administrator (Commission-Based)

Compensation Model: Gig Worker / High Commission (30% - 50% of service charges billed)

Location: Kakkanad, Kochi (Hybrid Model Available)

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Website Development: Develop new, fully responsive WordPress websites using modern themes, page builders (Elementor/Gutenberg), and custom CSS/HTML to match design specifications.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Implement core WordPress, theme, and plugin updates. Diagnose and fix issues such as plugin conflicts, broken layouts, and common server-side errors quickly.
Server & Backup Management (CRITICAL):
- Manage Web Hosting Environment: Familiarity with common hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk, etc.).
- Data Integrity: Implement and verify routine full site backups (files and database) and manage recovery/staging environments.
Coding & Customization: Write clean HTML5 and CSS3 for custom styling. Implement minor functionality changes using basic PHP and JavaScript .
Client Communication: Communicate project status, technical issues, and maintenance requirements directly to clients in fluent Malayalam and English .

Mandatory Requirements

Experience: 0 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress website creation and maintenance.
Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, Responsive Web Design , and the WordPress structure.
Server Knowledge: Proven ability to manage backups, use FTP/SFTP, and navigate hosting control panels.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing at least 2 3 live or recent WordPress projects.
Language Fluency: Fluent in written and spoken Malayalam and English is essential.
Mindset: Highly motivated by a performance-based, commission structure and dedicated to site security and reliability.
