Junior Site Engineer

As a Junior Site Engineer in Construction Contracting based in Kerala, you will be responsible for supporting the site supervision and execution activities. Your role will involve assisting senior engineers in monitoring day-to-day site operations to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. You will play a crucial part in supervising structural, finishing, and MEP works on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. Your duties will also include assisting in project coordination and planning by preparing work schedules, tracking progress, and liaising with subcontractors, site workers, and suppliers for seamless task execution. Additionally, you will participate in site meetings, document work updates, and help in quality and safety compliance by supporting quality control measures, conducting site inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies. Moreover, you will contribute to material and resource management by monitoring material usage, maintaining stock records, optimizing labor and equipment utilization, and ensuring proper storage and handling of materials. Your role will involve documentation and reporting responsibilities, such as maintaining daily site reports, logs, and other documentation, preparing work inspection and approval documents, and reporting site issues, delays, or risks to senior engineers and management. To excel in this position, you should hold a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and possess basic knowledge of building or infrastructure construction, including RCC, masonry, and finishing works. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and construction-related software is advantageous.
