Junior Safety / Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer at our company, your role involves ensuring a safe working environment across construction activities by developing and implementing safety plans, policies, and procedures. You will be responsible for: - Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implementing effective control measures. - Designing and delivering training programs to educate employees on health and safety protocols. - Investigating workplace incidents, identifying root causes, and providing actionable recommendations to prevent future occurrences. - Promoting a safety-first culture within the organization to encourage proactive participation in safety practices. - Acting as the point of contact for clients regarding on-site safety concerns and coordinating efforts to align safety measures with project requirements. - Regularly reviewing and updating safety plans and processes to reflect evolving best practices and legal requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Relevant degree or certification in occupational health and safety. - Knowledge of legal regulations and occupational health and safety guidelines. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
