Junior Safety / Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer at our organization, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement safety plans, policies, and procedures to ensure a secure working environment across all construction activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance by adhering to occupational health and safety guidelines at all times. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and implementing effective control measures to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will design and deliver training programs to educate employees on health and safety protocols, thereby increasing awareness and preparedness among the workforce. In the event of workplace incidents, you will be responsible for investigating these incidents, identifying root causes, and providing actionable recommendations to prevent future occurrences. Your role will also involve promoting a safety-first culture within the organization to encourage proactive participation in safety practices. Furthermore, as a Safety Officer, you will act as the main point of contact for clients regarding on-site safety concerns, coordinating efforts to align safety measures with project requirements. You will be expected to continuously review and update safety plans and processes to reflect evolving best practices and legal requirements.
