Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) based in Roorkee. The JRF will be responsible for conducting research under the supervision of Prof. Sneha Singh, using deep learning techniques to develop classification models for underwater acoustic systems, analyzing data, writing research papers, and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations. Day-to-day tasks include laboratory work, model development and training, and collaborating with peers and faculty members on ongoing projects. The role will also involve attending seminars and workshops as required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field of Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related disciplines
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related disciplines
• Experience in academic research and publications is a plus
• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning

Stipend

• Rs 37000 p.m. + HRA for first two years, then Rs. 42000 p.m. + HRA for the last year or for the remaining project duration, whichever is sooner.
