Job Description

Job Title: JRF (FOOD SCIENCE) Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced JRF (FOOD SCIENCE) to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food product research and nutritional research, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. They will play a crucial role in developing and improving food products, ensuring their safety, quality, and nutritional value

Key Responsibilities:

· Product Research and Development:

o Conduct research on new food products and improve existing products.

o Develop formulations and processes for food products that meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to market

· Nutritional Research:

o Analyze the nutritional content of food products.

o Conduct research on the health benefits of various ingredients and food products.

o Ensure products meet nutritional labeling requirements and health claim.

· Quality Assurance:

o Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the safety and consistency of food products.

o Conduct sensory evaluations and other testing to assess product quality.

· Regulatory Compliance:

o Stay up-to-date with food regulations and standards.

o Ensure all products comply with local, national, and international food regulations.

· Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain detailed records of research and development activities.

o Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in food product research and nutritional research.

· Skills:

o Strong knowledge of food science principles and practices.

o Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment used in food research.

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills.

o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Additional Requirements:

o Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.

o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

o Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations

Salary: 25,000 to 30,000 per month.

Experience: 2 - 3 years
