Junior R & D chemist

We seeking a reliable and highly skilled Junior R&D Chemist with 2+ years of experience for our emerging pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Based out of Hyderabad, We are the growing company in the Pharma industry, maintaining strong relationships with key industry players and fostering a dedicated and motivated team.

Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with senior R&D staff to support and contribute to ongoing research and development projects.
2. Assist on process optimization and technology development.
3. Enhance existing product processes and contribute to the synthesis of new processes for high-demand market products.
4. Stay up to date with emerging trends and developments in the field to identify new research and development opportunities.
5. Engage with cross-functional teams to translate scientific advancements into viable commercial products.
6. Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources under the guidance of senior R&D staff.
7. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and SOPs for laboratory equipment as per GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) guidelines.
8. Maintain a clean and safe workplace in adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines in the laboratories.
9. Participate in periodic assessments of laboratory operations and provide inputs for process improvement.
10. Contribute to minimizing wastage through continuous research on process optimization without compromising safety standards.

Qualifications and Work Experience Required

1. Candidates with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Chemistry [M.Sc (Chemistry)] from a reputed university with high academic achievements (& 80% aggregate score) may apply.
2. Individuals with up to 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical R&D sector.
3. Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively as part of a team.
4. A desire to gain experience in leading and contributing to research projects.
5. Deep understanding of chemical principles, experimental design, and analytical techniques.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset to drive innovation and overcome scientific challenges.

Physical demands/factors:

• While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee must meticulously observe

the chemical experiments undertaken or delegated to them, keenly noting any alterations occurring within the reactions. This necessitates strong visual acuity to discern subtle changes, fine motor skills for precise manipulation of equipment and reagents, and the ability to sustain focus for extended periods. Additionally, the employee should possess the physical endurance to stand for prolonged durations while manoeuvring throughout the laboratory, ensuring accurate monitoring of experiments. Adherence to safety protocols, including the appropriate use of personal protective equipment, is imperative due to potential exposure to hazardous chemicals during observation.
