Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description : We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will assist in testing new and existing software applications to ensure high-quality product releases. Responsibilities: Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, or desktop applications. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure proper testing coverage. Assist in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings. Help maintain QA documentation and contribute to test automation efforts (if applicable). Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 02 years of experience in software testing or QA-related roles. Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus. Basic understanding of SQL and APIs (Postman or similar tools). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology. Passion for quality and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
