Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

You will be joining Blackcurrant Labs Pvt. Ltd. as a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer. Your primary responsibility will involve test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing on a daily basis. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital experiences to customers through web automation projects. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be required to develop and implement automated test scripts by enhancing the existing/new framework and architecture. You will need to ensure that all aspects of the system have adequate testing coverage to manage the overall system reliability, performance, and quality of the product. Proficiency in writing functional & end-to-end tests using JavaScript technologies is essential. Additionally, you should have a strong grasp and experience in backend automation, including the use of REST, HTTP client, etc. Experience with Postman will be beneficial for this role. Your responsibilities will also include developing reusable utilities and test scripts that can be shared across the platform. You will be analyzing test results to identify database impacts, errors, or bugs, and usability issues. It will be your responsibility to prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and report to the design team. You will have the opportunity to interact with clients to understand product requirements and participate in design reviews by providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. To excel in this role, you must possess strong test execution and quality assurance skills, manual testing proficiency, and experience in creating test cases and software testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team are crucial. Experience with test automation tools will be considered a plus for this position. Ideally, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering is preferred, while a Master's in Computer Applications or a Bachelor's in Computer Applications will also be considered as suitable qualifications for this role.,
