Job Duties and Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated automation senior tester to join our dynamic team as an individual contributor. The job duties include designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring software quality through various testing methods. They also focus on improving testing efficiency and reliability. Test Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional and regression testing. Test Planning & Execution: Design test plans, identify test cases for automation, and execute automated tests. Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution. Framework Maintenance: Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks using Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber tools etc ensuring their efficiency and reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality. Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure application performance. Skills, Experience and Requirements Engineering degree with 4+ years of experience in Software Testing in agile environment. The candidate needs to be strong in SQL, Unix, XML, Scripting language. Strong in selenium and developing API automation using rest assured ,Ready API ,Http client Working experience in HP ALM, Agile Central, JIRA. Author and maintain an agile test strategy to include approaches for unit, system, integration and other forms of testing. Provide guidance to junior members. Exposure to AI tools will be an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly. Should have 1-4 years experience in Automation Testing Should have a good understanding of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server. Must have a good understanding of DB queries, joins, etc. • Should have hands-on experience in Java - Test automation. • Experience in any scripting language like python,• Hands-on Experience on latest technologies for backend and front end development like react js, angular, Golang, servlet, bootstrap, input stream processing, JavaScript, NodeJS is a big plus. You will be joining Blackcurrant Labs Pvt. Ltd. as a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer. Your primary responsibility will involve test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing on a daily basis. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital experiences to customers through web automation projects. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be required to develop and implement automated test scripts by enhancing the existing/new framework and architecture. You will need to ensure that all aspects of the system have adequate testing coverage to manage the overall system reliability, performance, and quality of the product. Proficiency in writing functional & end-to-end tests using JavaScript technologies is essential. Additionally, you should have a strong grasp and experience in backend automation, including the use of REST, HTTP client, etc. Experience with Postman will be beneficial for this role. Your responsibilities will also include developing reusable utilities and test scripts that can be shared across the platform. You will be analyzing test results to identify database impacts, errors, or bugs, and usability issues. It will be your responsibility to prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and report to the design team. You will have the opportunity to interact with clients to understand product requirements and participate in design reviews by providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. To excel in this role, you must possess strong test execution and quality assurance skills, manual testing proficiency, and experience in creating test cases and software testing. Experience with test automation tools will be considered a plus for this position. Ideally, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering is preferred, while a Master's in Computer Applications or a Bachelor's in Computer Applications will also be considered as suitable qualifications for this role.,

As an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 4-6 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using various testing frameworks and tools. Your role will involve identifying and prioritizing test cases for automation, executing automated test cases, and analyzing the results. Collaborating with developers and QA teams to enhance test coverage and efficiency will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also participate in designing and implementing test automation strategies, as well as maintaining and updating automated test suites as required. Reporting and tracking defects in bug tracking systems will be part of your daily tasks. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of IT experience and at least 4 years of experience in developing Automation scripts with Selenium using Java. Strong familiarity with Automation Industry Frameworks such as BDD, Cucumber, POM, etc., is essential. You should possess the ability to create and execute test plans and test cases based on user stories/requirements, while effectively identifying gaps and communicating defects. Ensuring test coverage, execution, and timely delivery are critical aspects of this position. Experience working with SCM tools like Git/SVN, as well as familiarity with Rest API automation tools like Rest Assured, Http Client using Java, would be advantageous. Adaptability to rapidly changing requirements, troubleshooting issues with applications and dev/test environments, and collaborating with different teams for testing and reporting on product performance, quality, security, and stability are expected from you. Enforcing software engineering best practices and QA methodologies, along with a commitment to continuous improvement in quality assurance processes, are essential qualities. Your excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and detail-oriented problem-solving approach will be crucial in this role. Being a great team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is highly valued. Experience with Agile methodology, Test Driven Development (Lean, Scrum), and continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) will be beneficial.
