Junior QA Tester

The Junior Test Engineer position in Mumbai requires a Manual Tester with basic knowledge of automation testing concepts. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to deliver reliable software solutions. Your responsibilities will include understanding requirements, preparing and executing test cases, and performing manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications. You will report, track, and re-test defects to ensure timely resolution, as well as assist in writing and maintaining basic automation test scripts. Working closely with developers and QA team members to improve product quality will be an important aspect of your role. Additionally, you will document test results and prepare test reports. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent). You must possess a strong understanding of manual testing concepts such as SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. Basic knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG is a plus, along with familiarity with test case design techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication, and teamwork abilities are essential. An eagerness to learn and grow in software testing is highly valued. Exposure to version control systems like Git, knowledge of SQL for database testing, and an understanding of Agile methodology are considered advantageous for this role.,
