Junior QA Tester

As a Junior QA Tester at our office hubs in Bangalore, you will be part of a resourceful QA team responsible for testing games, finding and documenting bugs, and ensuring issues are highlighted promptly. You will collaborate closely with Designers, Artists, and Programmers to enhance the overall gaming experience by proposing improvements and changes. Reporting to our Lead QA, you will play a vital role in the game development process, contributing to deliver a polished and enjoyable gaming experience for players. **Responsibilities:** - Work as a member of the team assigned to a project for testing specific video game titles - Test all games to identify and report issues before release - Produce high-quality bug reports with detailed descriptions, accurate reproduction steps, severity ratings, etc. - Document issues in a bug database and collaborate with the development team to ensure resolution - Collaborate with Designers, Artists, and Programmers to suggest improvements and changes for enhancing the overall gaming experience **Requirements:** - Strong critical thinking skills to identify issues and bugs in games - Excellent communication skills in English to describe identified issues clearly and concisely - Methodical, scientific, and analytical mindset - Knowledge of PC, Console, and Mobile Platforms in terms of hardware and software - Passion for games - Proficiency in using spreadsheets, MS Office, PC, and the internet - Ability to work effectively with other team members - Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements and instructions, and work as per project-specific shift timings - Based in our Bangalore office with 5 days per week on-site In terms of compensation and benefits, we follow a people-first philosophy with a strong emphasis on development and wellbeing.
