Junior QA Tester

As a Junior Test Engineer at our company, your role will involve ensuring product quality through the execution of test cases, bug identification, and collaboration with the development team to deliver reliable software solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding requirements, preparing, and executing test cases for manual testing of web / mobile / desktop applications. - Reporting, tracking, and re-testing defects to ensure timely resolution. - Assisting in writing and maintaining basic automation test scripts (good to have). - Working closely with developers and QA team members to enhance product quality. - Documenting test results and preparing test reports. To qualify for this position, you should have the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent). - Strong understanding of manual testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle). - Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is good to have. - Familiarity with test case design techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - Eagerness to learn and grow in software testing. It is also beneficial if you have exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git), knowledge of SQL for database testing, and an understanding of Agile methodology.,
