Technagy IT is a relationship-driven Managed Service Provider (MSP) for IT Services based in Texas.

We are looking for personnel who can work from the Kochi office.

The working hours will be Central Time (USA) from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a foundation in web development who is eager to grow their skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP

· Write clean, maintainable code following best practices

· Work with MySQL databases to store and retrieve data

· Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements

· Test and debug code to ensure functionality and performance

· Participate in code reviews to improve quality and share knowledge

· Document code and project processes

Requirements

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

· Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases

· Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

· Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Basic understanding of web development fundamentals

Nice to Have

· Experience with PHP or similar (Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Ruby, C#, Java, Perl, Go)

· Knowledge of MVC frameworks

· Experience with front-end frameworks (jQuery, React, etc.)

· Familiarity with REST APIs

· Basic understanding of web security principles
