A Junior Merchandiser supports the merchandising team in planning, selecting, and distributing products to maximize sales and profitability. This role involves analyzing sales data, monitoring stock levels, assisting with product allocation, and coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and store teams. The Junior Merchandiser plays a key role in ensuring that products are available in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity, while also contributing to seasonal planning, reporting, and visual merchandising activities.

Product Planning & Allocation

• Assist in planning product ranges and preparing sales forecasts.
  
• Help allocate stock to stores or online platforms based on demand and performance.
  
• Monitor stock levels and work with buyers or planners to manage replenishment.
  

Sales & Performance Analysis

• Track weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales performance.
  
• Analyze data to identify trends, bestsellers, and underperformers.
  
• Create performance reports and provide input for future range planning.
  

Liaising with Teams

• Ensure that product displays match the brand's image and drive customer engagement.
  

Administrative Tasks

• Maintain product information, SKUs, pricing, and delivery schedules in internal systems.
  
• Prepare documentation such as purchase orders, delivery notes, and reports.
  

Market Research & Competitor Analysis

• Stay informed on current fashion or product trends.
  
• Help gather competitor pricing, promotions, and product offerings.
