Junior Merchandiser

The ideal candidate for this position in Coimbatore should possess 2-3 years of experience as a Merchandiser and should also have a keen interest in Sales. You should have a strong understanding of merchandising principles and practices, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your responsibilities will include effectively communicating with suppliers, negotiating terms, and having familiarity with various textile products such as garments, uniforms, and fabrics. Knowledge of both domestic and international garment markets is essential for this role. Additionally, having knowledge of Embroidery and Printing would be advantageous. As a Merchandiser, you will assist in coordinating and executing merchandising activities, including product sourcing, pricing, and assortment planning. Collaborating with the team to develop marketing strategies, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, and monitoring market trends will be key aspects of your role. Your creative thinking and problem-solving abilities will be valuable in adapting to changing priorities and project requirements. Education in a Textile Background is preferred, and your role will involve contributing to the overall growth and success of the company by actively participating in meetings and providing innovative ideas. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and approaching new potential clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and negotiating sales contracts, pricing, and delivery terms. Participating in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings to showcase products and services, as well as exploring new markets and sales channels, will also be part of your responsibilities.
