Junior Interior Designer

We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our design team. The successful candidate will assist in creating innovative and functional interior designs for various projects, including residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills and gain experience in the field of interior design. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist senior designers in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials. 2. Develop and refine design ideas through sketches, renderings, and 3D models. 3. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and take measurements. 4. Assist in selecting materials, finishes, and furniture for projects. 5. Create and maintain design documentation, including specifications and schedules. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and clients. 7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design principles, and best practices. 8. Assist in project coordination and communication. Requirements: 1. Diploma or degree in Interior Design or related field. 2. 0-2 years of experience in interior design (or relevant internship experience). 3. Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. 4. Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, spatial planning, and materials. 5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 6. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Desirable Qualifications: 1. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software. 2. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices. 3. Familiarity with industry-standard design software and tools. 4. Portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
