Junior Engineer - Production

As a CNC Machine Operator, your role involves setting up, running, and tending to CNC machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders to perform tasks like cutting, shaping, drilling, and finishing materials. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand the exact specifications and dimensions required for a part. Additionally, you will be writing or editing G-code and M-code programs to control the machine's movements, selecting and installing cutting tools, and fixtures for each job. Your key responsibilities include: - Operating CNC machines to perform cutting, shaping, drilling, and finishing tasks - Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and work orders - Writing or editing G-code and M-code programs - Performing quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments - Conducting routine maintenance on machines and troubleshooting production issues - Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE Qualifications required for this role: - Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role - Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings - Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming - Strong attention to detail and quality standards - Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on CNC machines Please note, this is a full-time position with the requirement to work in person at the designated work location.,
