Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Safety Compliance & Monitoring

Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across plant operations.
Assist in hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA), and job safety analysis (JSA).
Monitor use of PPE and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Environmental Management

Support implementation of pollution control measures (air, water, waste).
Maintain records for environmental parameters and assist in regulatory reporting.
Coordinate with external agencies for environmental sampling and audits.

Incident Management

Assist in investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Maintain incident logs and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Training & Awareness

Conduct toolbox talks and EHS induction programs for new employees and contractors.
Promote safety culture through awareness campaigns and visual management.

Documentation & Compliance
Maintain EHS documentation including permits, MSDS, SOPs, and inspection records.
Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Education- Diploma/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science

Experience- 26 years in EHS role, preferably in chemical or process industries
