Job Description

ADARSH GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, CHENNAI IS LOOKING FOR JUNIOR ENGINEER (only male candidates).

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in educational institutions, institutional campuses, or large infrastructure projects.
Experience in handling multi-storey buildings and campus development projects is desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors during project planning and execution.
Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to approved designs and standards.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, university norms, AICTE/UGC guidelines (where applicable), environmental and safety regulations.
Liaise with government bodies and statutory authorities for approvals, inspections, and certifications.
Identify repair needs and plan preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain project documentation, measurements, bills, and completion reports.
Prepare periodic progress and cost reports for management.
