Junior Developer

As a software developer at Allerin, you will be responsible for writing high-quality code that meets customer requirements while emphasizing simplicity, clarity, and testability. You will play a crucial role in promoting a collaborative team environment, working closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives. By collaborating with stakeholders, such as business stakeholders, product owners, and end users, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of functional and non-functional requirements, investigating and proposing solutions to development and design issues. In this role, you will participate in scope of work estimation and forecasting, adhering to architecture, design, implementation, security standards, and best practices. Code reviews, collaborative programming techniques, and integration planning will be part of your responsibilities to ensure high-quality business outcomes. Your ability to comprehend analysis for integration needs and design integrations will be key to success, along with implementing unit and integration tests, conducting functional and performance testing, and developing reusable software building blocks for efficient delivery. Moreover, you will be expected to enhance the performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues, as well as preparing technical documentation such as software design evaluation plans, test results, and technical manuals. Adhering to established development practices and processes will also be a vital aspect of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong object-oriented design and development skills. Coding experience in Python, R, or Ruby is preferred, and an eagerness to thrive in a challenging environment with frequent new challenges is essential. The ability to learn new skills rapidly and apply them to solve complex problems, coupled with qualities like patience, resilience, flexibility, and attention to detail, will be highly valued. Furthermore, familiarity with Data Analytics, Data Mining, Object-Oriented Design, Algorithms, Data Structures, and Database technologies is advantageous.
