Junior Designer

Salt Studio is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Designer to provide support for both custom (made to measure) orders and seasonal collections. You will closely collaborate with the design and production teams to actualize ideas while upholding the brand's aesthetic and quality standards. Responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending designs and fabrics, and overseeing the made-to-order process. You will be responsible for sketching custom pieces, creating detailed spec sheets, estimating garment costs, coordinating with tailors and embroiderers for timely execution, assisting in fittings, styling, and alterations. Additionally, you will contribute to seasonal collections, mood boards, trend research, support photoshoots, exhibitions, and quality checks, as well as maintain fabric, swatch, and sample libraries. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, strong design, sketching, and fabric knowledge, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop (preferred), good communication, organization, and time management skills. A passion for craft, detail, and contemporary design is essential for this role.,
