Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, sheet metal, and weldments using
SolidWorks
.
Create
detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
with precise dimensioning, GD&T, tolerances, and BOMs.
Interpret client inputs, sketches, and email instructions to deliver accurate designs.
Manage design files, versions, and approvals using
SolidWorks PDM
.
Ensure design compliance with
industry standards
(ISO, ASME, ANSI).
Translate customer requirements into clear and manufacturable 3D/2D outputs.
Support the fabrication team by resolving design/documentation-related issues.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to explain design concepts and address technical queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / BE in
Mechanical Engineering
.
1 to 2 years
of hands-on experience with
SolidWorks
.
Proficiency in
SolidWorks PDM
and version control.
Strong knowledge of
Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and Weldment modules
.
Expertise in
3D modeling, drafting, and detailing
for manufacturing.
Sound understanding of
GD&T
, machining processes, sheet metal operations, and welding standards.
Familiarity with
material selection (
steel, aluminum, sheet metals, and structural profiles).
Ability to manage and prioritize
multiple projects under tight deadlines
.
Good
verbal and written communication skills
for client interactions.
