Junior Civil Engineer

As a Junior Civil Engineer (Site Engineer) at our construction/real estate/infrastructure projects team, your role involves assisting in day-to-day site supervision, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of works, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and senior engineers. **Key Responsibilities** - **Site Supervision:** - Monitor and oversee construction activities at the site to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. - **Execution Support:** - Assist in the planning and execution of civil works including foundations, structural, finishing, and utilities. - **Quality Control:** - Inspect materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Report defects or deviations immediately. - **Measurement & Reporting:** - Take daily measurements, maintain site records, prepare progress reports, and support billing/BOQ (Bill of Quantities) verification. - **Coordination:** - Liaise with contractors, labor teams, architects, and consultants to resolve site-related issues. - **Safety Compliance:** - Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed by site workers. Report hazards and enforce corrective measures. - **Documentation:** - Maintain records of drawings, site instructions, material consumption, and inspection reports. - **Support Senior Engineers:** - Assist project engineers/managers in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. **Qualifications** - Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering. - 02 years of experience (freshers with internships/projects may apply). - Basic knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and site management. - Familiarity with AutoCAD/MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is a plus. In this role, you will need to have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork abilities, ability to work under supervision and adapt to site conditions, and willingness to travel and work at project sites. This is a site-based role that may involve travel between multiple projects, exposure to outdoor work, construction equipment, and labor teams, and a work schedule as per project timelines (including extended hours when required).
