Junior Civil Engineer

As a Junior Civil Engineer at our landscaping and construction company, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing various projects to ensure they are completed within the specified time frame, budget, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the planning and execution of landscaping and civil construction projects. - Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and specifications. - Support site engineers and project managers in daily operations and project tracking. - Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. - Collaborate with architects, designers, and subcontractors. - Estimate quantities and costs of materials, equipment, or labor for project feasibility. - Assist in preparing project documentation such as reports, schedules, and progress updates. - Help coordinate procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers. - Ensure environmental, health, and safety guidelines are followed on site. - Perform other duties as required by the engineering or project team. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - 02 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects in landscaping or construction are a plus). - Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. - Basic knowledge of landscape design and grading principles is preferred. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office; knowledge of project management software is a plus. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to work on-site as needed. As a preferred skill, interest or experience in sustainable landscaping practices, understanding of irrigation systems, soil stabilization, or retaining wall structures, good communication, and problem-solving skills would be beneficial for the role. The working conditions for this position involve office and site-based roles with the possibility of occasional overtime or weekend work based on project timelines. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions on-site is expected. This is a full-time position suitable for fresher candidates.
