Junior Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineering Intern at our organization, you will have the opportunity to support ongoing infrastructure and site development projects at our mining facility. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in civil works within a challenging and rewarding mining environment. Successful completion of the internship with outstanding performance may lead to a full-time job opportunity with us. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the planning and supervision of civil engineering projects related to mining infrastructure such as roads, drainage, foundations, and retaining walls. - Supporting in surveying and preparing site layouts, drawings, and reports. - Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering designs. - Assisting with quality control for construction materials and work. - Coordinating with contractors, site supervisors, and project engineers to monitor daily site activities. - Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including progress reports and material logs. - Learning and applying mining-specific civil engineering practices like tailing dam construction, slope stabilization, and water management. In order to excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (3rd or 4th year preferred). - Basic knowledge of civil construction techniques and surveying tools. - Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and/or civil engineering design software is an advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Willingness to work in remote and challenging mining environments. - Good communication and teamwork abilities.
