Junior Analyst - Actuarial Reserving

As an Actuarial Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for various tasks including working on the annual and quarterly Reserve review process, handling the annual and quarterly Actuals vs Expected (AvE) reports, and contributing to the enhancement of processes to boost capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness. Additionally, you will be involved in Large claims adjustment to support the reserve review and AvE processes, as well as improving and updating new and existing quarterly and annual processes. To qualify for this position, you should have 0-2 years of actuarial experience and demonstrate good progress in actuarial exams related to general insurance, preferably SP7&SP8 in IFOA/IAI. Experience with Reserve review and Reserve risk in general insurance is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL is essential, along with working knowledge of Word, VBA, and other MS Office applications. Strong analytical skills are crucial, enabling you to deliver clear and concise verbal and written communications of analyses and results. Being well-organized with the ability to maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping is also required. Additionally, strong communication skills are a must for effective collaboration within the team.
