Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including the day-to-day posting of transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and collection of payments from customers. Follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in tax filing and ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Prepare necessary documentation for tax returns and audits.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Accounting: Assist in the reconciliation of inventory records, ensuring that stock valuation aligns with financial statements and audit requirements.
  • Cost Analysis: Support cost analysis activities to help management track expenses, optimize spending, and enhance profitability.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing required documents and information in a timely manner to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Documentation & Filing: Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with AS9120 standards and readiness for audits.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide reports and insights on financial performance to assist management in decision-making and improving financial efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in accounting and financial management.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in accounts/finance and previous experience in handling GST, TDS, and other statutory filings is essential.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Skills Required:

Accounting Knowledge, Attention to Detail, Time Management, Tax Knowledge, Analytical Skills, Communication Skills, Software Proficiency in Tally, SAP and MS Office, Regulatory Compliance.

  • Timely Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable & Receivable Efficiency, Tax Compliance Rate, Audit Success, Bank Reconciliation Accuracy, Cost Control & Efficiency, Inventory Valuation Accuracy, Regulatory Compliance
