Junior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, Billing, Tally, and Purchase Orders (POs). You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the senior team with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including billing, invoicing, and purchase orders (POs).
• Record and reconcile financial transactions in Tally ERP.
• Prepare and file GST returns and assist in tax-related documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely processing of bills and payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of GST, billing processes, and purchase order management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Experience:

• Accounting: Minimum 1 year (Preferred)
• Tally: 1 year (Preferred)
• Total Work Experience: 1–2 years
