Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Management
Handle preparation, verification, and filing of invoices for clients and vendors.
Filing and Documentation
Maintain accurate filing of accounting records, bills, vouchers, and financial documents.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Assist in recording and tracking payments and receipts.
GST Support
Help in preparation of GST data and reconciliations for monthly filings.
TDS Support
Assist in TDS data collection, challan preparation, and coordination for returns.
General Ledger Posting
Record day-to-day accounting transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime).
Bank Reconciliation
Perform reconciliation of bank statements with company accounts.
Financial Assistance
Support senior accountants in preparing financial reports and statements.
Audit & Compliance Support
Provide necessary documents and data during audits and compliance reviews.
Administrative Support
Assist in basic office accounting tasks, filing, and coordination with internal/external teams.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
Experience: 12 years in accounting or finance role.
Familiarity with Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
Strong organizational and filing skills.
Good attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
Eagerness to learn and support the finance team.
