About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with 3 years of relevant experience to join our Accounts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, hands-on experience with Tally ERP, and a B.Com degree. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance while contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, vouchers, and invoices.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly.
• Support statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and other tax filings.
• Maintain and update accounting systems (Tally ERP) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide support during audits and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and other departments for smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant or Junior Accountant.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of taxation, GST, and TDS regulations preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
