Junior Accountant

You are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the accounting team in day-to-day financial operations. Your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of financial statements, updating accounting records, reconciling bank statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, assisting with audits, and maintaining organized financial documents. You will also need to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations and provide support to senior accountants and team members as required. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of accounting experience (including internships or fresher experience). A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting is required, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential. It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations, as well as experience with ERP systems. This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional extended hours during financial closing or audits.
