Video Editor

Job Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Add music, dialogues, graphics, sound, and visual effects.
• Trim footage segments and assemble them into cohesive storytelling videos.
• Work with creative teams to understand project objectives and develop a consistent style and tone.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
• Color correction, sound mixing, and finishing touches to meet high-quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling.
• Knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and sound design is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Attention to detail and creative thinking.
• A portfolio or showreel of past work is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in [e.g., wedding editing, reels, corporate edits, etc.]
• Basic knowledge of photography or camera handling is a plus.
• Fluent in [English/Tamil/other relevant language if needed].

Salary: Based on experience – Negotiable
