Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) located at the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy in Visakhapatnam. The JRF will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the energy and hydrocarbons domain, designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to academic publications. Other responsibilities include collaboration with faculty and research teams, presenting findings at conferences or seminars, and assisting with related project-specific activities as required.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to design, conduct, and interpret experimental studies
• Proficiency in relevant scientific techniques, tools, and software applicable to energy, petroleum, or hydrocarbons research
• Ability to draft research papers or reports and effectively communicate findings through academic writing
• Capability to work collaboratively within research teams and contribute to academic discussions
• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in academic research or working on funded research projects will be an advantage
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
