Job Title: Jr.Chef

Location: Vasai- Mumbai

We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Chef to join our kitchen team. As a Junior Chef, you will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of food according to recipes and standards.
  • Help in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • Follow health and safety regulations while handling food and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
  • Support senior chefs in preparing meals for the restaurant or hotel guests.
  • Participate in menu planning, ingredient selection, and food presentation.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock checking.
  • Ensure that the food storage procedures are followed correctly to prevent contamination.
  • Maintain consistency and quality in food production.
  • Participate in training sessions and learning new cooking techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.

Skills Required:

  • Passion for cooking and learning culinary arts.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety practices in the kitchen.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
  • Freshers or candidates with minimal experience in the kitchen are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

  • Entry-level position; freshers or those with some experience in a kitchen environment are welcome.

Personal Attributes:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to adapt and handle pressure in a busy environment.
  • Strong time management skills.

Requirements

Proven experience as a kitchen assistant, line cook, or similar role.
Passion for food and willingness to learn new techniques.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
