Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Site Manager to lead and manage site execution activities for industrial steam turbine projects The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with proven experience in turbine installation, commissioning, and site management This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely project execution, adherence to safety protocols, and seamless coordination among internal and external stakeholders Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end site execution of industrial steam turbine projects, including mechanical installation, alignment, commissioning, and handover Lead and supervise on-site teams comprising internal supervisors, technicians, and external contractors Coordinate with project engineering and planning teams to ensure alignment between design and execution Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards during all site activities Oversee installation resources, tools, and materials management at site Monitor project progress against timelines, budget, and quality standards Manage subcontractors and vendors - including evaluation, selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring Provide technical guidance and hands-on support in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical installation and commissioning issues Prepare and maintain site documentation including daily reports, and handover protocols Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solving Support coordinate closely with OEMs and central engineering Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback loops for future projects We don t need superheroes, just super minds Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong team-player and interpersonal abilities Excellent stakeholder management skills Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 7-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical site management, preferably in steam turbine / rotating equipment / heavy industrial equipment projects Strong understanding of steam turbine erection, alignment techniques, rotor dynamics, lube oil systems, auxiliary piping, and mechanical systems Hands-on experience in handling large-capacity steam turbine projects (utility/industrial) Familiar with QA/QC standards, installation checklists, and safety protocols Proficient in reading engineering drawings, isometrics, and installation layouts Strong communication, leadership, and contractor management skills
