Jr. Network Engineer

As a Junior Network Engineer at our organization, you will play a vital role in our IT team by contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth data communication and optimal network performance. Your duties will include assisting in network design, configuration, and implementation. You will also be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitoring network performance, resolving issues, and collaborating with senior engineers on network projects will be an essential part of your role. Additionally, you will contribute to implementing network security measures and protocols, performing network maintenance and upgrades. Your expertise in networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, as well as familiarity with network devices and configuration will be beneficial in fulfilling these responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. Basic knowledge of networking protocols and strong problem-solving skills are also essential. Your ability to learn quickly, work effectively in a team environment, and adapt to new challenges will be critical to your success. Preferred qualifications for this position include a CCNA or equivalent certification, experience with network monitoring tools, and knowledge of network security best practices.
