Jr. Engineer-HVAC (Site)

As a HVAC Project Engineer, your role involves understanding the project details based on air-flow and control diagrams for all systems. Your responsibilities include: - Verifying HVAC-related materials available at the site and comparing them with the packing list. - Checking construction drawings against site conditions and reporting any discrepancies to the Project Manager. - Highlighting quality and workmanship issues to the Project Manager. - Coordinating with the design team for changes in construction drawings. - Ensuring contractors do not execute any work without approved construction drawings. - Coordinating the installation of the entire HVAC system under the PM's supervision. - Monitoring daily work progress and comparing it with the baseline project schedule. - Verifying daily installations done by team members and reporting to the PM. - Ensuring team members work as per required quality and speed. - Following all working and safety norms at the site. - Attending site meetings as instructed by the PM. - Tracking workmen's attendance and ensuring timely work completion. - Managing installation measurements and billing under the PM's supervision. - Performing leakage and pressure testing and reporting to the PM. - Witnessing validation, balancing, and commissioning activities. - Collecting raw data from the validation team and submitting it to the PM. - Reviewing inspection reports and quality control records. - Generating as-built drawings and obtaining client acknowledgements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Familiarity with HVAC duct fabrication and installation detailing work. - Knowledge of AHU, supply boxes, filters, insulation, instrumentation, and BMS installations. - Understanding of prevailing HVAC standards and guidelines. - Experience in handling contractors and allocating daily work based on project schedules. - Ability to interpret construction and execution drawings and explain them to team members. - Proficiency in ACAD detail electrical engineering drawings and spreadsheets for report preparation.
