Jr BIM Engineer/ Modeler

As a Jr BIM Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for developing accurate 3D BIM models for projects of various sizes and complexities. Your role will involve generating plans, sections, elevations, and detailed production drawings from these models while ensuring they meet design standards and practices. Additionally, you will be required to annotate, dimension, and detail production drawings effectively. You will play a crucial role in setting up and geo-locating multiple models for individual projects, as well as creating 3D views or renderings for marketing or project purposes. Utilizing advanced tools such as Civil 3D, Navisworks, and Infraworks will be essential for multidisciplinary project collaboration within a BIM environment. A key aspect of your job will involve coordinating with clients to align BIM modeling content and approaches, managing model exchanges, ensuring quality control, and overseeing delivery. Your experience with offshore projects, including those in Australia, the US, and the UK, will be valuable in this role. Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous development of BIM best practices and be involved in preparing and reviewing general arrangement drawings, 3D models in Revit, material take-offs, etc. Adhering to the BIM execution plan and project workflow criteria is crucial, as is effectively communicating client requirements and methodologies. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and BIM standards for 3D modeling, layouts, labeling, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details, and other design concepts is required. You should also be proficient in reading and interpreting 2D and 3D BIM drawings and models to assist in solving engineering problems. Knowledge of Levels of Development (LOD) 100 to 350, along with strong team collaboration skills and an understanding of multi-discipline projects, are essential for this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also crucial for effective client interaction and project delivery.
