The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing plant electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and enforcing compliance with statutory regulations and safety standards. The role demands a proactive leader with hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical systems and proven managerial capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the electrical maintenance department to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations. Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Ensure compliance with all statutory and safety regulations related to electrical installations. Maintain and troubleshoot HT/LT panels, transformers, generators, motors, PLCs, VFDs, and other plant electrical systems. Supervise installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems. Maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, repairs, and inspections. Manage energy consumption and suggest improvements for energy savings. Lead a team of technicians and junior engineers; provide guidance, mentoring, and training. Coordinate with production, safety, and external agencies for audits, inspections, and project execution. Ensure availability of critical electrical spares and manage maintenance budgets effectively. Qualifications and Skills: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Valid “B” Electrical Supervisor License (mandatory). Minimum 15 years of experience in a managerial capacity in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or process industry. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, energy management, and safety protocols. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an added advantage. Strong documentation and reporting skills.
