About the role As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be the architect and ambassador of reliability, automation, and scale. You will be a hands on executor of DevOps while also planner and implementor of the longer term DevOps strategy. What You ll Do DevOps Strategy & Leadership Define and execute our vision for CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and run-book automation. Evangelize DevOps principles via brown-bags, documentation, and team workshops. Build & Maintain Scalable Pipelines Architect self-service pipelines in Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions or equivalent. Ensure zero-touch deployments, parallel testing, and rapid rollbacks. Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Automation Model multi-region cloud environments (AWS) with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Implement configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to enforce consistency and security. Reliability, Observability & Performance Design robust logging/metrics/alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Champion SLOs/SLIs, stress-test production, and drive continuous performance tuning. Security & Compliance by Design Integrate security scans, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks into pipelines. Partner with InfoSec to maintain SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant certifications.
