Roles Creating and maintaining robust quality Management System to ensure zero defects. Participating in supplier selection, evaluation and up gradation. Ensuring efficient customer complaint redressal. Establish efficient sample inspection procedures after understanding customer requirement. Leading, harmonizing and standardizing quality System Implementation taking all stake holders along. Pursuing excellence in all areas of operation using PDCA approach. Team building and inculcating positive approach. To take corrective actions for the Quality problems encountered. Initiate Corrective & Preventive actions to prevent any failures. Responsibilities To prepare setting approval and hourly inspection reports as per process sheet. (If the setting approval piece found reject, Then Inform to setter and immediately stop the machine and arrange for setup approval again). To verify process sheet, work instruction, measuring instruments and gauges on each machines as per control plan during the shift start. To ensure continual process improvement thru kaizen. To control of non-conforming products and handling in process. To control and make scrap ticket of all rejected components and signed it by Quality Head to dispose of the same in scrap yard. Scrap records should match with daily SAP scrap report. To maintain all quality records as per procedure & requirements. To ensure proper handling of instruments &gauges and calibration as per schedule & requirements. To prepare MIS & periodic reports. To ensure defective limit samples reviewed as per schedule. Daily monitoring, analysis and review of in-house rejection to control and get the trend downward. To make and maintain Layout of running products as per plan. To conduct SPC study of critical parameters of each process stage as per annual plan. To monitor the hold/rework material and to work on the same for daily clearance of ok material. To ensure 100% adherence to Quality systems, audit processes & customer norms. 5S implementation in all inspection areas. IATF 16949 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS) & ISO 45001(OHS) standard requirement practical Implementation in the shop floor-maintaining standard formats, training.
