Job Title: Excellent Opportunity for Informatica Support Engineer
Experience: 6-8 yearsShift: 24x7 Rotational ShiftsNotice Period : 15 to 30 days onlyJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Support Engineer with strong expertise in ETL support, Unix shell scripting, and PL/SQL (Oracle/Database). .Key Responsibilities:ETL / Informatica SupportProvide L2/L3 support for Informatica PowerCenter, handling job failures, debugging workflows, and performance tuning.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve batch job failures, ensuring timely data processing and availability.Work within an ITSM-based environment, managing incidents, problems, and change requests.Debug Informatica workflows, mappings, and sessions using logs, error messages, and data flow analysis.Optimize Informatica jobs to improve performance and ensure adherence to SLA timelines.Support both real-time and batch data processing across enterprise data warehouses.Unix & Shell ScriptingAnalyze and modify Unix shell scripts used in ETL workflows.Manage and automate batch job execution using shell scripting.Perform log analysis and job monitoring within a Unix/Linux environment.PL/SQL & Oracle DatabaseDebug SQL queries, stored procedures, and database jobs running on Oracle databases.Perform data validation, reconciliation, and query optimization.Collaborate with database teams for indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.Resolve issues related to data discrepancies, missing records, or data corruption.ITSM & Production SupportWork in an ITIL/ITSM-based support model, handling incidents, problems, and change management.Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent solutions for recurring issues.Ensure timely resolution of tickets in compliance with SLAs.Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for L1/L2 teams.Shift & On-Call SupportWork in a 24x7 rotational shift environment, ensuring uninterrupted support.Handle and resolve critical P1/P2 incidents, escalating to the appropriate teams when needed.Provide on-call support as per the roster, including weekends and holidays as required.Desired Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in Informatica PowerCenter and ETL support.Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting and automation.Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL queries, and Oracle database management.Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes in a production support environment.Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents effectively.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift model, including on-call support.Kindly share CVS on sandeep.a@talent21.in
