Information Technology Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, hardware, and networking equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of laboratory information systems (HLM/LIMS) and related applications.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the laboratory and HLM/LIMS software vendors for troubleshooting, updates, and system enhancements.
• Provide technical support to laboratory staff for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
• Ensure proper integration of diagnostic instruments with HLM/LIMS for automated data flow and report generation.
• Maintain regular data backups, system security protocols, and antivirus updates to safeguard information integrity.
• Monitor IT assets and maintain up-to-date records of systems, software licenses, and AMCs.
• Support compliance with NABL, data security, and internal IT audit requirements through timely documentation and adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and technical support.
• Train and guide staff on the appropriate use of systems and IT tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT support, preferably within a diagnostics, hospital, or healthcare environment.
• Hands-on experience with Hospital/Lab Management Systems (HLM/LIMS) is essential.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, hardware troubleshooting, and system administration.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with data protection, compliance standards, and HL7/LIS integration will be an added advantage.
