About the Role

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
ETL/ELT pipelines
to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, streaming data) into target systems.
Utilize Python libraries and frameworks commonly used in data engineering such as
Pandas, NumPy, Dask, and Apache Spark (PySpark)
.
Implement
data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation processes
to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
Optimize pipeline performance for scalability and efficiency.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Document processes, workflows, and maintain version control for all data engineering tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Python
for data engineering tasks.
Hands-on experience with
ETL/ELT pipeline development
.
Strong knowledge of
data processing frameworks
(Pandas, NumPy, Dask, PySpark).
Experience with
SQL
and relational databases.
Familiarity with
data validation and quality assurance techniques
.
Understanding of
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data storage solutions is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
streaming data technologies
(Kafka, Spark Streaming).
Knowledge of
containerization and orchestration tools
(Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
for data workflows.
