Overview

The Jira Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Jira developers, translating business needs into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships. This role is critical to project success, from gathering requirements to ensuring seamless delivery.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Management:

  Lead assertively to meet business requirements, focusing on security and user experience. Facilitate effective communication and regular updates to ensure alignment throughout project phases.

• Documentation & Requirements:

  Develop and maintain clear, structured documentation of business processes and workflows. Accurately translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with technical leads on solution design.

• Testing:

  Test Jira projects and workflows to meet business requirements. Identify areas for optimization and implement solutions to enhance productivity.

• Issue Resolution & Improvement:

  Proactively address issues related to Jira setups to minimize disruptions. Share and implement best practices for optimal Jira performance and user experience.

• Project management:

  Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while engaging stakeholders. Capability to provide demos and training on tool functionalities and consult on project/program management best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst with proven documentation skills in a tech related industry.

• Must have

  Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, project management expertise, and a results-oriented mindset.

• Good to have

  experience with Jira, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
