Overview:

Jira Administration:
- Manage and configure Jira projects, workflows, and permissions.
- Administer user accounts, groups, and roles, ensuring appropriate access levels.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.

Groovy Scripting:
- Develop and maintain custom scripts using Groovy to enhance Jira functionalities.
- Create automation scripts for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
- Work with Jira REST API to integrate with other tools and systems.
Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions.
- Train users on Jira best practices and facilitate workshops as needed.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Jira users.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into project progress and performance.
- Analyze and optimize existing workflows based on user feedback and project needs.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Jira Administrator or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Groovy scripting; experience with Jira ScriptRunner is a plus.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Jira Cloud and Server environments.
Experience with other Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
Knowledge of database management and SQL.
